2s and 3s win again as 1s falter

Mitcham 2s stay joint top of the Surrey Championship Division 5 after a big victory on the Green against Guildford City. The visitors were bowled out for 120. And the home side knocked the runs off in the 33rd over for the loss of 5 wickets.

Sharif Hosseni was the standout performer as Mitcham 3s continued their winning start to the 2018 season. After top scoring with 41 as Mitcham were bowled out for just 155, he excelled with 3-33 as Chipstead Coulsdon and Walcountians fell one short - 154 all out. That result puts Mitcham 3s 11 points clear at the Surrey Championship 3rd XI - East Division.

Another disappointing batting display from Mitcham 1s same them fall to their second defeat of the season. Responding to Morden's huge total of 285-5, Mitcham were bowled out for 129. Mitcham 1s are 6th in the Surrey County League Division 2.
