Comedy, history and cricket to raise money for Mitcham CC
Come and join us over the weekend of 7-9 September as the stars come out in Mitcham.
A giant marquee on the edge of the historic green will be the centrepiece of the weekend's fun.
Friday night is our annual Awards Night as we celebrate the best of the club's talent. The Awards night starts at 7pm in the marquee. Tickets which are £5 for adults and free for kids will be available on the door.
Saturday 8th September is Mitcham Heritage Day. The pavilion will be open to the public as one of a number of local landmarks. In the tea room we will have a special cricket history exhibition on 150 years of Aussies on the Green - come and find out more about our Green's history as a venue for international cricket.
There will be a colts exhibition match from 11am and a guided cricket history walk around the boundary at noon (meet at the pavilion). Refreshments will be on sale all day. Entry is free, so come and pay us a visit and find out more about the history of our Club

On Saturday evening join us for Giggles On The Green, a great comedy night in the Marquee. Tickets are available on the TicketText website. There's a licensed bar, food with each ticket and a great line up of comics. Its for adults only and starts from 7pm.
On Sunday 9th we welcome the Lashings World XI to the Green.
The day will start with an 11am coaching session where our colts can pick up tips from the likes of Monty Panesar and Devon Malcolm.
From noon, guests who have purchased a table in the marquee can take their place for a 3 course meal and auction.
After lunch it'll be time for some T20. The Lashings world XI will play a Mitcham CC XI and then a Celebrity XI. The celebrity squad will include Matt Floyd from Sky Sports and many others
Tables for the Marquee are available at two prices - Silver for 10 guests £500. Gold for 9 guests plus a Lashings player £650. Please email the club to book your table.
Access to the Green will be free for spectators and BBQ food (including Halal) and drinks will be available to purchase - bring a deckchair or picnic blanket and enjoy the day with us.
