Playing a pairs format game, Mitcham posted a decent score of 92. Michael and Dasun added very useful runs at the end, but all the pairs contributed - Ali & Ehsaan, Niyamat & Ismail, Leo & Ehsan, Ralph & Ridham. For many, this was their first experience of team cricket for Mitcham. Particular congratulations to Niyamat who steppped up from All Stars cricket.

Spencer’s reply was steady but occasional wickets (minus 5 off the score) kept Mitcham in the game. This included a direct hit run out by Michael throwing in from close to the boundary.

Coming to the last over, the scores were level, and Michael - who had taken a wicket, bowled, the last ball of his previous over, with the ball again. Spencer nicked a single off the 4th ball to take the lead. A wicket would still have won the game, but Spencer saw those 2 balls out to take the narrowest of wins.
