Calling all members, the Club needs your attendance at our Annual General Meeting on 28th November. This will take place at the pavilion (4 Cricket Green CR4 4LA) at 7.30pm.

At the bottom of this article you can see a link to the Annual Report for 2024, this has been sent for printing. The Report includes photos and news from our 2024 season. You can read about the performances of all our teams, including our promoted 3rd XI, triumphs in our junior section and the junior and senior Sapphires. It also contains valedictories for former players Robin Stevens and Dave Lawrence who sadly passed away recently. Unfortunately the Report doesn’t include our latest Accounts, we hope they will be available by the AGM.

The meeting will appoint officers of the Club for the 2025 season - including the captains. We will make our annual awards including the Burn Bullock Tankard, the Fred Cole Cup and the Pat Batty Award. Also on the Agenda will be the consideration of a number of amendments to the Club Constitution. These make updates to reflect the creation of the Sapphires section and changes to terminology for Welfare Officers. They also clarify that the Executive may introduce requirements for the use of payments through an online team management application. A link to the current Constitution is also at the end of this article.

We need at least 20 current members to be present at the meeting for it to make these important decisions. Hope to see you there.
