Batting first, Mitcham were limited to 88-7 in their 20 overs. Beddington bowled well, including 3-16 for James and 2-7 for Riley. Madyn made 19 and Rayan 12 not out, but we were a little under par overall.

In reply, Beddington reached 61-5 after 14 overs. The bowling had been good, with Michael (1-21 off 4), Ayaan (0-3 off 2), Dhruv (0-4 off 2), Ahmed (2-6 off 2) and Madyn (2-10 off 2) keeping things tight. The bowlers were well supported by all the fielders, with Dasun, Leo, Rishi and Ehsaan all saving vital runs. Still, with 5 an over needed to win, Beddington were very much in the game.

But what followed was remarkable. Sahel took 1 wicket, but in 2 overs Rayan took 4 wickets, all bowled, for 0 runs. From 61-5, it was 61 all out. With his 12 runs as well, a man of the match performance. But definitely a team win.
