The weather outside may be frightful, but what better excuse do you need to stay indoors and think about the cricket season?

Begin your preparation for the 2017 cricket season by getting in some practice at indoor winter nets.

Senior Nets
The senior nets this year are on Sunday afternoons at Tooting Leisure Centre, Greaves Place, Tooting SW17 0NE. This is less than a 10 minute walk from Tooting Broadway Tube station. Times vary and are as follows:
15th and 22nd January 3.00-5.00pm
29th January 6.00-8.00pm
5th, 12th, 19th and 26th February 3.00-5.00pm
5th, 12th, 19th and 26th March 3.00-5.00pm
2nd April 3.00-5.00pm
There is a weekly fee to attend - contributing to the cost of net hire.

Colts Nets
The nets for our juniors (for members up to school year 11) are also at a new venue this year and will be on Sunday afternoons from 22nd January at Rutlish School entrance via Mostyn Rd. This is less than 10 minutes from Wimbledon Chase Rail station and 15 minutes from Merton Park Tram stop. Sessions are at the same time each week 3-4pm. There is a fee of £2 per session per colt as a contribution to the costs.

Net practice can make a real difference, particularly to early season performance, so get a head start and come and join in!
