Mitcham Cricket Club

Our Under 13s compete in the Surrey Junior Cricket Championship – Under 13 Tier 2 North East 2026 and are a brilliant group of young cricketers developing both their skills and their love for the game. Open to boys and girls in Year 8, the focus is on learning, confidence, and enjoyment, with players encouraged to express themselves and grow each week.

The team has built on a strong recent track record, having won the Under 11 Division Championship in 2024 and finishing runners-up in the Under 12 Championship in 2025 — a testament to both their talent and continued development as a group.

Training includes softball sessions every Sunday from 10:45–12:15 and hardball training every Saturday from 9:30–11:30, all held at Mitcham Cricket Green.

Just as important as results and skills is the way the team plays their cricket. The players show fantastic spirit, support one another, and build strong friendships along the way — exactly what junior cricket should be about. It has been hugely rewarding to see skills develop week by week, with everyone contributing more as the season progresses.
